General English Programs
General English Program is designed to meet the needs of hard working local and international students, who plan to achieve a high level of English language skills and are looking for maximum benefit from a general English course. This program provides students with the functional English language skills much necessary to succeed in today’s world.
Course materials include up-to-date textbooks, audio and videotapes, reading materials and access to the English Language Computer Lab and the Internet.
Our staff of experienced and highly qualified instructors is dedicated to helping you meet your objectives in English. On your road to English language success for academic, personal, or professional purposes, we will be with you every step of the way!
There are different levels and, after a placement test and an interview, you will be put in the level that is right for you.
Beginner (2 levels)

Intermediate (2 levels)
- Interactive grammar
- Fluency and oral skills
- Idioms and Vocabulary
- Writing skills
- Canadian Culture
Advanced (2 levels)

Full-time program
The Full-time intensive program provides 27 hours of instruction per week. Students take 15 hours of General English in the morning, Monday to Friday, and 12 hours of skill development courses in the afternoon, Monday to Thursday. You will be able to improve your overall English proficiency in morning classes with other students of the same level and focus on your specific language needs in the afternoon with tailored courses to meet your requirements. A well-balanced combination of structural language skills and communicative language skills will be provided throughout the day.
Part-time Program
The Part-time program covers all the skills areas in English and follow a syllabus which is primarily designed to develop the four skills of speaking, writing, reading and listening, and to provide the opportunity for more fluency and accuracy practice and increase your awareness of how English works. There are 15 hours of intergraded English per week.
