ALMA English Institute strictly observes and incorporates The Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) in the daily activities in the following policies and practices:

• Getting consent for collecting, using and disclosing an individual's personal information
• Collecting personal information only for reasonable purposes and collecting only as much as is reasonable for those purposes
• Using and disclosing personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected unless the individual consents
• Appointing a Privacy Officer, someone to  be responsible for ensuring that ALMA complies with PIPA and making information about ALMA's management of personal information available on request
• Ensuring that personal information we have is as accurate and complete as necessary for the purpose you use it for
• Ensuring that personal information we have is secure and keep it for only as long as reasonable for business or legal reasons
• If someone complains about our school's management of personal information, attempt to resolve the complaint in good faith and quickly
